I am placing my order for the 2025 Lariat soon, but I am torn between the Hybrid engine and the EcoBoost. Any pros and cons or recommendations?

I am interested to see how the hybrid handles towing 4K, as I have done it with my Ecoboost and it can pull it, though it requires significant acceleration on hills. With 60 less horsepower, I would recommend waiting for some reviews of the 2025 hybrid before you tow near its capacity regularly.

I would not have purchased a Maverick if the EcoBoost option had not been available, even if everyone in this room seems to adore the hybrid. I adore the EcoBoost’s added power.

Honestly, there is no real downside to getting the hybrid now since it offers AWD and 4K towing please correct me if I am mistaken about the towing. Hybrid engines generally have a longer lifespan, and this platform is well-tested.
The main reason I am considering an earlier Ecoboost is for the 4K towing capacity, though AWD is a nice feature for the rare occasions I need it.
