The 2025 Maverick is $40K now, but it’s still built like the $20K truck from 2022. Same cheap plastic, thin panels, rattles, and bad paint. And let’s not forget Ford’s recalls.
If you can live with that, then yeah, it’s a solid choice.

Yeah, prices are up across the board. But I do think the 2025 models have some real upgrades, like AWD hybrid and a better infotainment system.
As long as the interior looks nice and holds up, I don’t mind the plastic. I’ll be checking one out in person next week.
I love my Maverick, but $40K is a lot. I got my 2024 Tremor for $30K out the door after some haggling and a trade-in. If I was spending $35K+, I’d probably look at a Ranger or another midsize truck.

A bigger truck means worse MPG, though. I’m hoping the hybrid will save me money in the long run.
