I was considering mud flaps and rain guards from the Ford website. What did you all use your points for?
For context, I just got my Maverick two weeks ago and won’t need an oil change for a while. I’d prefer to use the points now rather than search for other options later. The truck is a lease, and I’ve already bought a bed cover, added letters to the back, and tinted the windows.
Any suggestions?
With mine, I purchased the floor mats that suited me perfectly. I adore them.
I forgot about the points until I checked the Ford app and saw I still had some left. Just received the floor mats I love them.
Just as with anything from the Ford website, save the floor mats for Amazon.com. more affordable and easily customizable.
When something can not be purchased on Amazon or Ford’s website has bad feedback, I choose OEM.
I went with a drop-in bed liner. It looks nice, and getting it for $150 is a great deal. I would recommend waiting for at least a 20% off sale before buying anything.
Definitely use this option until a better, more affordable one comes along. Keep in mind that Rakuten offers discounts at the Ford store, so maximize your savings by stacking discounts. I received a $150 check a few weeks ago from my purchases, so it is definitely worth setting up.
I did something similar with a Thule roof rack when Ford had a 30% off sale, and I combined it with a 20% Rakuten Ford discount. Timing has to be perfect to get both discounts together. It took me about 8 months for the discounts to align, so patience and frequent checks on both apps are essential.
