Anyone else painting their Maverick to match their own truck…

If you take out the rivets, you can separate the body from the windows and the rest. Makes it look cleaner with not much extra work. It’s looking good though!

I’m doing that now on another truck. Not sure why I didn’t think of that before. Thanks for the idea!

You found three already? I’m still trying to find one!

I just found one at Safeway, lol. Got a blue one!

Right, same here.

I found one yesterday at Dollar General, of all places. First time I’ve seen one in the wild—couldn’t believe it.

I did the same thing but just used the Ford touch-up paint pen to match my Maverick instead.

Wait… you’re supposed to paint your actual truck to match the Hot Wheels version.

If only it were that easy. I’d take that blue over my gray any day.

Looks great! I wish I had steady enough hands to do that kind of detail.

My hands aren’t as steady as they used to be either. I just fake it and hope for the best! Haha.

Man, I’ve been searching everywhere for one. Still no luck!

Looks like an Earl Scheib paint job to me.

:joy::joy::joy: Just looked it up. They closed on my birthday in 2010. That’s hilarious!
