Thanks! Designing it was a lot of fun. The size provided a good balance between restrictions and creative freedom, making it a rewarding problem-solving experience to capture the spirit of the truck.
@Skyler
You did an excellent job!
Nice work! Do you have instructions for this?
Thanks! I plan to create instructions, but I want to build it in real life first to make sure the design works. Once confirmed, I’ll upload the instructions to Rebrickable. I couldn’t resist sharing the render early!
@Skyler
Let us know when the instructions are ready. Super excited to build this!
@Skyler
Can’t wait for this. It looks amazing!
@Skyler
Wait, that’s not real? Incredible work!
I really wanted a LEGO Maverick since I have LEGO versions of all my past cars, but I felt the versions for sale didn’t quite capture the look of the truck, especially the Tremor model’s mods.
I used an 8-stud wide model by IBrickedItUp as a base and modified it to better reflect the truck’s proportions. I avoided illegal or overly finicky building techniques to keep it feeling like an official set.
It has 466 pieces and measures 8 studs wide by ~24 studs long. The interior has dark blue accents, a center touchscreen (a rotated phone tile), and a gauge cluster. I’ll post real-life build pics and instructions once I test the design.

What software did you use to design this?

I used Bricklink Studio, a free program with an extensive feature set. It includes a database of all existing LEGO bricks and their available colors, real-time collision detection, stability checks, and the ability to generate step-by-step instructions. The renders are from the program too. You can also export a parts list to a brick-buying site for easy ordering.
@Skyler
Thanks for the detailed explanation. It’s great to know there’s a streamlined way to order parts. I’d love to know what it costs to build this. It’s a fantastic design and worth every penny to bring to life!
@Pat
Thanks! Based on past builds of this size, I estimate $80-100 depending on parts availability and sellers. Some rare pieces, like decorated tiles or license plates, can drive up the cost, but I’ll share more once I build it.
@Skyler
Looking forward to the final build! Don’t forget to snap a pic with your real truck in the background.
Do you have the build instructions yet?

Coming soon! I want to test the design in real life first. Once I confirm it works, I’ll upload instructions and post an update.
