Love my Maverick, but the brakes are weird. Sometimes they grab too hard, sometimes I have to press way too hard. Ford said they’d release a fix, but nothing yet.
Also, the temp sensor is broken. It says 50 degrees when it’s actually -2 outside. I double-checked the settings, but it’s still off.
The ‘some features are disabled while in motion’ pop-up is annoying too. Every time I start driving, it comes back.
I sold my Maverick after 9 months. I had a 2016 F-150 before and thought I still needed a truck, but I couldn’t get past how cheap the interior felt. It does what it’s supposed to, but it just didn’t feel good to drive. Traded it for a ‘22 WRX.
I drove a Honda Civic and wanted a truck with good gas mileage. The Maverick seemed like a great deal, but I’m already regretting it. The windshield pops, the estimated mileage range keeps changing, and the transition between electric and gas feels rough.
I haven’t even hit 5,000 miles, and I can tell it’s going to be a maintenance headache. Ford dealerships are already trying to dodge warranty claims.
I might just sell it while prices are still high and get a RAV4 instead. Ford is a joke.
