Ah, I understand that you leaned over the edge of the bed to unload some items and accidentally opened the gas filler cover. I also find that I accidentally pop it open whenever I put in or take out something from the front driver’s side corner of my bed.

This only occurs in the EcoBoost model, in the hybrid, you need to release it using the button in the cab.

I know it’s a bit childish, but my first thought was, “Hey, the truck is doing squats! It must be getting a workout.”
Childish or not, I still find it hilarious.

Well done. I wish mine could be like that. However, the aggregate weight of all passengers and goods cannot exceed 1,380 pounds, according to my door post notice. I’m beat by you!
