F150 or Maverick for a family and projects?

Fair point. They start production in 2022, so you might find one available by the time you’re ready to buy.

The Maverick is an awesome deal with its price and MPG, but the F150 has better resale value. If you’re worried about gas, you could look at the F150 PowerBoost hybrid—it might offset some of the fuel costs.

I looked up the PowerBoost, and it seems like a solid option. A new one is about $43k, which isn’t bad considering how high used prices are.

Have you considered a minivan like the Chrysler Pacifica? It’s got Stow-and-Go seats for extra cargo space, great for families, and better MPG. They even make a plug-in hybrid version.
