I made a ‘T’ plate that fits into the mystery slot on the console. My 15-year-old dog comes everywhere with me, and he always ends up stepping on the buttons.
Love it, really clever!
My dog has a seat cover in the back so he has his own little space. It’s mostly because my wife sits in the front, but it also keeps his fur from spreading everywhere. He usually hangs out by the passenger feet, but the seat cover gives him more room to lie down. I like this idea though, very smart.
Is that a sausage dog?? Mine hops around a lot too, always worried he’ll step on something.

Yep, he’s a weenie dog!
With all the cheap plastic inside my truck, I won’t let my dog in. Good thing I have a Jeep XJ.
That’s a clever use for that weird ‘what is this’ card slot!
Take my money now!
Get a dog taco. It’s safer for dogs. [Link to product]
And my dog always brings his blanket… so cute!
Dog tax!
I’d be more worried about your dog stepping on the parking brake than those 3 buttons.

It doesn’t do anything when you push it down, only when you pull it up. Totally safe.
@Riley
I was just thinking that if his paws are in front of the button, they might slide and lift it up.
I need something for the seatbelt button.
Bwahahahaha
Maybe it would be safer for everyone if you moved your dog to the back seat?
Such a good idea! My dog accidentally turned on hill descent control once while I was driving. That was scary.
I need one of these for my Tremor. My dog always sits on the armrest and slobbers all over the buttons. I’m just waiting for it to get stuck in sand mode or something.
