On the fence to purchase one due to the uncertain reliability of the 2024 model.
8k miles, just fine.

8k on mine and a summer roadtrip from NC to FL. No complaints on reliability. Just the normal ‘have to press the OK button 6 times when I get in the truck’

7200 and mine hasn’t had an issue.

Same
Yes and no. It has had a multitude of recalls and been in the shop for warranty work a few times. But none of those things have stranded me or been a significant annoyance.

What were your warranty issues?
- Shuddering when switching from gas to electric
- 12v battery not charging, constant deep sleep
- Wonky trim piece in the roof gutter
- Engine shaky on cold starts
- Catalytic converter heat shield rattle
- Oil leak from valve cover
@Lane
Combined across 3 visits. I switched dealers to one that doesn’t have any problem giving loaners.
3000 miles in and no problems so far.

Same here, XL hybrid

Not a dig on the truck, but 3k miles isn’t exactly a measure of reliability if you’ve had no issues.

It is the best I got so far
Battery died. Truck started right up with a jump but still was frustrating. They switched out the infotainment system. Apparently, it was phantom-draining. Seems to be fixed. Other than that, nothing. Love this truck.
Just got a check engine light at 1100 miles yesterday

That’s really weird; they usually give the error code as well.
Just passed 48,000 miles on my ‘22 Hybrid XLT Lux CP360. It’s been nothing but reliable, even loaded and towing at max weights. The only thing that’s been unreliable is Android Auto.
36K miles and no issues. Love it. 600+ miles per tank currently in the hybrid.
Pretty decent:
- First broke at 3k miles
- After that broke at 5k miles had 3 different issues at the same time
Contacted 2 Ford Repair centers, got denied. After 3 months and about 8–10 appointments, I sold that piece of garbage.
