I don’t personally do it, but I know people who name their stuff like vehicles, ATVs, Roombas, etc. It is not my thing, but to each their own.

Makes one wonder if they have conversations with the people who named their trucks. Say good-bye to Greyvy and pat the dashboard, etc.
To name an inanimate object seems a little strange to me, but I suppose that is personal preference. I don’t do it either.

You would better name her Greyvy and give her some praise with “Good girl, Greyvy!” when she earns it. 
I name all my vehicles, too. I am currently in the market for a new truck, so hell yeah, Greyvy is awesome.
