How do you like the Maverick? Which did you get? What would you change? What do you wish Ford had done differently?
I love my Lariat AWD but there are a few quirks. The back seat doesn’t latch easily, panels scratch too easily, and the upgraded B&O sound system isn’t as good as others I’ve had. But overall, it’s comfortable, gets great gas mileage, and I get compliments all the time.
I’ve got an XLT AWD with the off-road package. It handles great on dirt roads, and the gas mileage is decent. The only complaint so far is that the headrests aren’t comfortable for naps, according to my wife.
Love my EcoBoost AWD with the 400a package! The screen is pretty basic, but it gets the job done. People need to remember it’s a budget-friendly truck; you’re not getting $40k luxury.
As someone who’s 4’11" and came from a 2010 Smart car, the Maverick is a huge upgrade. It’s the perfect size for me, has decent gas mileage, and is comfortable for my family and dogs. I love it!
I have a Cyber Orange AWD 4K Lariat Lux, and I love the utility and compliments I get. The AWD handles great in the snow. I wish the rearview camera worked better with the tailgate down, and I’m not thrilled about the MPG (around 21), but overall, I’m very happy.
Picked up my Lariat in December. Some issues: no sound insulation under the hood, no engine cover, the reverse camera is poor quality, and the door panels scratch too easily. Still, it’s a great truck for the price.
Got the XL hybrid and love it. The 40+ MPG makes up for minor annoyances like the lack of push-to-start or wireless CarPlay. It’s a budget truck, but it’s perfect for my needs.
I have an Alto Blue Lariat with 4K Tow, AWD, FX4, and the Lux Package. The ride is smooth, and I love the heated steering wheel for winter. The only thing I don’t like is the rotary shifter; I sometimes don’t rotate it far enough.
Love the truck, but the radio freezes a lot. Other than that, it’s the best vehicle I’ve had in years.
Got an XL AWD. It’s awesome. The interior is budget but well-designed. Infotainment is sometimes laggy, but for the price, I have no complaints. I might upgrade to a 2025 Maverick in a few years!
Loving the Hybrid. The handling is great, and the auto-stop feature is super smooth. My only nitpick is the side mirrors feel unusually small compared to my F-150 and even my minivan.
