Touchscreen for climate control? Yay or nay?
Haha, I’ll miss my old-school knobs. Right now, my setup is just ‘hot/cold’ and ‘blow hard/soft’ settings.

Do all the new ones have that?
Market seems to be softening, so expect the usual fees but not too much extra. Dealers usually add around $1,500 destination fees and doc fees up to $2,000, plus tax, title, tags, etc.

Yeah, I’m prepared for the standard stuff like destination fees ($1,350). Haven’t heard of doc fees before, though.
@Olin
Yeah, both dealers I dealt with had doc fees. Not a fan, but it seems pretty standard.
Usually no deposit needed, hopefully, they aren’t the type to stack on fees later. If you want a February delivery, you should be scheduled soon. Mine was supposed to be built in early December but now looks like late January.
@Ellis
That’s good to know. This was all set up just earlier this month. Fingers crossed for a smooth process.

I put down $500 too (S FL). Didn’t know anyone at the dealership but they said I could cancel anytime and get it back, so hopefully it’s the same for you.
@Corey
Honestly, putting down the deposit made it feel more real, so I’m fine with it. I just really want this truck!
@Gale
Looks great! How’s it driving?
My ‘24 took 4.5 months from order to delivery in my driveway.

That’s pretty close to my estimate! So how much do you love it? Scale of 1 to 10?

@Casey
Nice! I see you got the tri-fold cover—did you have the dealer install it?
@Casey
Yeah, it’s the OEM Ford one. No complaints at all so far.
Lariat? That’s going to set you back a lot!

Haha, bubble officially burst. I went with Lariat after weighing my family’s needs, features, and finances.

The pricier builds usually get priority, so that might mean a faster delivery. Ford wants those higher-profit units moving.
