Was driving 75 on the highway when it made a loud clunk … then it basically said it didn’t feel like driving anymore.
I called for a tow, but they told me to cancel since they were too busy. After about 20 minutes, it started back up, and I managed to get it to the dealership. Luckily, it’s still under a 10-day money-back warranty.
Now I’m thinking of looking at a 2024 model instead. Any advice or things I should know before I dive back in?

I have a ‘24, and it’s been good so far. Pretty much the same thing, just hoping it doesn’t decide to stop on me!

Same thing happened to me twice! You just have to turn it off for 3-5 mins to reset it. Mine even went up to 33 mph on electric-only mode with no gas pedal, just braking.
After a software update, it’s been fine.

Glad to hear that … I was worried about getting the first-year model. The dealer’s been good, though, and they’re offering me a 2024 at the same price.

Maybe … but my ‘22 Hybrid’s been great! No issues that made me stop or pull over. Got 34,000 miles on it and going strong.

Same here! Got mine in July, 23k miles in 4 months, no issues.

I got the ‘22 early, no issues except for a lousy update from Ford that tried to fix a non-existent problem.
