Upgrading my 2024 model to a 2025

I am not a fan of the front end change but really wanted the Velocity Blue. I am looking for accent ideas when it arrives. I plan to add letters to the tailgate and am considering yellow. Share your mods with me.

You are planning to buy a new vehicle that you don’t even like the design of, just because you think it’s cheaper than getting a paint or wrap job?

You probably spent around $2,000 in taxes and fees when you bought your Maverick, and you will have to pay that again for a new one. The 2025 models are more expensive for the same trim and features, so you’ll be losing money there too. Plus, your current vehicle has depreciated, adding to the loss. And in the end, you don’t even prefer the new design.

A wrap or a fresh paint job would cost less, be less of a hassle, and save whatever impression of common sense your friends and family still have of you.

Velocity Blue can be tricky because people might assume you are a fan of certain sports teams based on your location and the local team colors. For example, blue and yellow or gold could suggest you’re a fan of WVU, Michigan, or the Chargers or Rams. Blue and orange might signal support for the Chicago Bears, while blue and silver could be linked to the Cowboys or Lions. Blue and red often points to Kansas Jayhawks. Just keep your local sports teams in mind when choosing a color.

You can save a lot of money by getting your automobile painted or wrapped if you want to upgrade the color.

A good paint job should cost at least $5,000. Wraps cost $2500 or more.

Surely less expensive than the value lost on a trade-in?

If this didn’t turn a profit, it was not a wise financial move. :smiling_face_with_tear:
