Looks like Ford bumped up the prices for the 2025 Maverick. What do you think about the new pricing?
Maverick being an affordable truck was nice while it lasted. Now it’s just another overpriced option.

Seems like anytime something is a good deal, the price shoots up until it’s not anymore. Glad I got mine before this hike.
@Ozzie
Exactly. That’s why I rushed to get mine last year. I had a feeling this would happen.

The whole appeal was the price. It was cheap and efficient. Now it’s almost $30k for the base. What’s the point?
@Vesper
Right? At that price, you’re getting close to mid-size truck territory, but with less truck in return.

Yeah, it’s lost its charm for me. I was drawn in by the low price, but now you might as well get a bigger truck or an SUV for the same cost.
@Vesper
I think all the dealer markups made this inevitable. Too many people were paying over MSRP for it.

Maybe, but I still don’t get why anyone would pay those markups. I waited over a year for mine but still paid MSRP. Patience pays off sometimes.
@Vesper
True, but your willingness to wait is no different than someone else’s willingness to pay over MSRP. The price hike was bound to happen—it’s basic supply and demand.

With the auto market cooling down, I think we’ll see discounts on these soon once the initial hype dies down.
@Gray
Yeah, I think dealerships will have to adjust once demand dips.
@Vesper
I got a ‘22 XLT with options for $29k out the door. These new prices are just crazy.
Remember when the Maverick was under $20k? Good times.

I bought mine for $19,995 and got 0% APR for 36 months. Can’t believe how much it’s gone up now.

Yeah, those were the days. Now even base models are out of reach for most people.
I wanted the AWD hybrid with the 4k tow package, but at these prices, I’d rather just get a Ridgeline.

Same here, but the Ridgeline’s MPG isn’t great for city driving, which is most of my use.
@Bay
I’ve got a FWD hybrid in Minnesota, and snow tires handle most of the winter fine. AWD is nice, but not always necessary.
Does anyone know how much the 4k tow package is now? Prices are getting up there for sure.
