Why are there so many used Mavericks with low miles?

Yes, the warranty follows the truck. We did this with a Taurus we bought with 5K miles.

Does the warranty transfer if you buy from CarMax or Carvana?

Factory warranties stay with the vehicle no matter the owner. Extended Ford warranties need to be transferred for a fee.

Got it, thanks. I bought an Ioniq 5 from CarMax, and Hyundai cut the powertrain warranty in half since it was ‘used.’ Looking at the Maverick next, so just doing my research.

Yeah, Hyundai’s powertrain warranty drops for second owners. Their regular warranty stays the same though.

Makes sense. Still not a bad deal overall.

For the first two years, you could sell them for more than you paid. A lot of people who ordered a 2022 or 2023 ended up selling once their order arrived.

$3,400 price protection on my XLT Hybrid, so I paid just under MSRP. CarMax is listing the same truck for $36K. A lot of people who had long waits ended up buying something else and then flipping their Maverick when it finally arrived.

Thanks for all the replies! I just got my Maverick. Found an XLT with FX4 and 4K tow package. Didn’t pay a dime over MSRP, got the windows tinted for free, and they even delivered it 200 miles to me. I’ll post a ‘Got Mine’ thread soon!
