If I’d found a white one on the lot, I would’ve bought it. I ended up with blue, though. The only color I refuse to buy is black.
White cars stay cooler inside, the paint looks good longer since white doesn’t fade, and they’re easier to spot on the road. Also, white vehicles tend to have cheaper insurance.
My 2023 XL is white!
I’ve got a white Maverick, and I’ve seen a few others on the road that aren’t fleet vehicles. You’re right though, most of the white ones are for businesses. The only non-white commercial Mavericks I’ve seen are wrapped in blue and yellow for a local solar company.
When I was hunting for my XL, the dealer said the demand from fleet buyers was off the charts. Might be why they’re hard to find now.
Yeah, those are probably fleet trucks.
They’re being discounted now … I found a Lariat with about $3,500 off.
Was that for a hybrid?
Here’s a photo of it: https://placehold.co/600x400.png
That photo looks really squished!
Haha, love that little smiley face
Nice! Does the dog approve?
He’s more into watching the fish.
When I ordered my 2025, the dealership only had Lariats, and a lot of them. They seem to be easy to find.
Waiting for the hybrid AWD was tempting, but those discounts can buy a lot of gas.
Not too long ago, I was excited to even get one at MSRP. The XLs sold fast and often had big markups when I was shopping.
Yeah, that’s what I saw when I was looking for a bare-bones XL. Tons of XLTs and Lariats, but very few XLs. I was drawn to the $23,920 MSRP for a base XL Ecoboost because I work from home and don’t really need a full-on car. My Kia Sportage got stolen, though, so I had to buy something. After searching for two months, I finally found one an hour away and grabbed it the day it hit the lot.
Probably a company placed a big order for work trucks.
Those are probably for businesses, not individual buyers. I see a lot of companies switching to Mavericks now.
Yeah, the fuel savings alone make them a good deal for businesses.
