I’m glad I got my 2022 XL 4K 360 EB for $23k when I did. Granger was offering $3k off MSRP and a $500 military rebate. It’s been a great truck so far!

Wow, that’s amazing!
I love my 2022 XL hybrid, but no Maverick is worth $50k. I paid $20,100 for the base model plus a tow hitch. I added cruise control myself for $90. I’ve had some recalls, but the gas mileage is great. I’m averaging 42 mpg after 26k miles. But the main thing is value, and it feels like they’ve taken that away.
I love my ‘23 Hybrid XLT/Lux/360 at MSRP, but I wouldn’t pay anywhere near $50k for one. The Maverick was so appealing because it was cheap, especially with a hybrid option. At $50k, I’d rather wait for a hybrid Tacoma or something with more power.
@Remy
Yeah, $50k won’t even get you a hybrid Tacoma in Canada, and they’re not a great value anyway.
I agree. The Maverick was designed as a $20k truck, and you can tell with the plastic interior and other cost-saving measures. Even with all the options, it’ll never be a luxury vehicle. I got a 2024 XLT AWD 4K for $29.6k after discounts. Personally, I think the best strategy is to keep it under $30k USD if possible.
I ordered a 2025 XL with hybrid, AWD, and 4k tow with MSRP around $35k in early 2024. It’s probably going to be closer to $40k once it’s built. But even then, I feel it’s still a good deal for the features I’m getting, especially compared to the competition.
@Anya
That seems like a solid choice! I’m hoping for similar numbers.
