A Tacoma backed into my parked 2022 Maverick XL. The results were surprising

Seems like Toyota is using a softer plastic for their bumpers.

Tacomas and Tundras stopped using metal bumpers a few years ago. The chrome looking ones are just painted sliver. I had a Tacoma with steel bumpers.

Nice. If you want to touch up the finish at all give it a sand to smooth it and then spray this stuff on it. It did an amazing job when I had to fix a scuff on my bumper. Can’t even tell it was there now! https://amzn.eu/d/8wUDqD0 This is a UK Amazon link but I was able to buy it at a local body shop supply store. $29

Thank goodness the clips held up, If they do, you will need to replace the entire bumper.

Yeah, thankfully it didn’t, but I am still going to have it checked to make sure the frame is not damaged.

They have definitely got what they asked for. I have noticed a lot of Tacoma and Chevy midsize truck drivers tend to act aggressively when they are around my Maverick on the road. It’s like they are driving like teenagers.

They are just jealous your truck cost 10k -20k less than theirs. They want the maverick

I recently experienced this, and the outcomes are the reverse.
