I’ve got a few recalls that haven’t been fixed yet. For a while, I kept hearing people say their trucks would randomly stop working after getting the recalls done. Is this still happening, or is it safe to go get them fixed now?
I got mine done about a month ago, and so far, no issues.

Oh, just wait until it shuts off on you while you’re driving. Mine seemed fine too, right after the recall work. The first thing I noticed, though, was the steering felt off. I don’t even know how the recall could’ve caused that, but it did… then the truck shut off while I was driving.

Yup. It freaked me out! At first, I thought maybe I accidentally hit the on/off button. Then I realized… nope, that wasn’t it.

It was recalls 1, 2, 4, and 6. Yeah, mine is an ecoboost.
I’ve had every recall done and never had a problem.
Got all my recalls done on my ’22 XL 2.0 Ecoboost about two months ago. No issues so far.
Honestly, I’d rather have to take it back in a few times after a recall than risk an ‘under the hood fire.’

Well, here’s the thing… that only happens if you keep driving after completely wrecking the engine. Imagine your truck starts clunking and sputtering, and you just ignore it like, ‘Huh, must’ve been the wind.’
I don’t think it’s a big problem anymore, but I still haven’t done mine yet. Been procrastinating.
Had mine done two weeks ago. Everything seems fine, though the app still says the recalls are incomplete.
Got all the recalls fixed, and my truck’s been fine.

It was a problem for about two weeks when the update first came out. They pulled it, reworked it, and now everything’s fine.
I’ve had all my recalls done on my ’22 hybrid, and it’s been fine.
How can I check if my truck has any recalls?
I’ve got a ’22 Lariat. Had my recalls fixed back in June, and it’s been fine.
