I went through so many to make it work right. Some were too long, some were too short.

Do you have a link to those 2 right angle adapters?
@Blair
You gotta get two because they’re different directions. Can’t use the blue, need 2 black

I’m thinking of trying the Apple MagSafe charging pad. It can be 25w. Any others I’m finding are only 15w and with this needing WiFi and Bluetooth, it doesn’t charge as fast. It’ll at least be the same % when you started driving. Only concern with the Apple one is if the magnets will hold the phone while driving
How does the adapter you have work with longer rides? I have a carlinkit 5 adapter and I swear every time I reach 90 minutes into the ride the audio starts to fail. Cuts out over and over until I unplug the unit from the USB and reboot the head unit.
@Meade
I had one that did that, it was overheating. I got another one that works better, but also has its own quirks
@Meade
I haven’t had an issue yet, maybe the longest so far was an hour commute every day
I bought one for Android Auto (will work for Apple Play too) on Amazon but a different version.
They work pretty good- although certain buildings will interfere with mine. It’s the same buildings in the same place every time. It also eats my phone battery since you need both Bluetooth and Wifi turned on to use it.
I had this exact same setup inspired by another post last year, used it for a few months but disliked the slight delay in timestamps for the music. The lag was just enough to bother me, but likely not others.
I switched to an Apple cord for the USB3.0 charging speed and faster connection.
Then the entire multimedia module slowly went to crap and had it replaced under warranty a couple of months ago.
Now I’m back to the Apple cable, but wish dearly I could go back to wireless if there were no lag.
@Benn
The lag that bothers me is when watching a video. I could care less about the second to change songs
