Thanks! The tint was done right after I got the truck. 15% all around and 50% on the windshield with a brown tint on top.
I drive my hybrid bought in May around 3000 miles a month. No issues except for a ticking noise from the dash that I can’t find. 22k miles in and averaging just under 40mpg

Ecoboost?

I should’ve mentioned that! Yes, it’s the Ecoboost.

That’s really good MPG! Did you consider the hybrid?

I didn’t. 80-85% of my driving is on highways or interstates. The hybrid wouldn’t have benefited me enough.

Now I’m wondering if I should’ve gone with the Ecoboost. I drive 60 miles one way to work on the highway but I really wanted the hybrid for the best mpg. I get around 33-37mpg. What benefits have you noticed with the Ecoboost over the hybrid? I have been very happy with my hybrid, though.

The Ecoboost has more power when you need it. Seems like the Ecoboost also has fewer mechanical issues. I went with the Ecoboost because I can fix it myself after the warranty runs out.

I have a 2024 Ecoboost AWD. The main advantage is quicker acceleration and a higher towing capacity.

I’m pretty sure the hybrid mainly helps with city mpg. On the highway, the mpg is nearly the same according to EPA estimates. I can get 33mpg easily if I set the cruise control at 60mph on the highway and 75mph on the interstate. The roads I travel are mostly flat, so I get decent mpg, even though it’s windy on a calm day!

I mean, on the highway, the hybrid is getting almost the same as the Ecoboost. But in stop-and-go traffic, the hybrid shines. The hybrid also has more range and fewer moving parts. The Ecoboost gives some extra power, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the trade-off. Even if I mostly drive on highways, things could change…
Same here, I’ve averaged 30mpg since I got my truck. The hybrid wouldn’t have helped me.
