I ordered my Maverick back in June 2021 and it showed up in January 2022. I bought the XLT Hybrid model and really liked it. A few weeks ago, I decided to check Carvana just to see how much they’d offer for it… and they gave me $25,500. That’s after I drove it for two years and put 52,000 miles on it.
I ended up going for an F-150 Lightning because I loved everything about it… except for the range. So, I returned it and picked up an updated Supercrew Maverick. It’s honestly a fantastic little truck!!

I have a 24xl, love it! I was thinking about getting the Lightning with all the incentives, but do you think life is better with a Maverick?
Where I live, it’s a bit too far from Indianapolis and Chicago to be sure I could make the trip there and back on just one charge.
I’ve got a '22 Lariat with the FX4 and tow package. It has every option except the moonroof, has less than 19,000 miles and is in perfect condition, but Carvana offered me just $10,500. How are some of you getting offers in the $25,000 range?
@Frost
It might depend on local demand or how close you are to a Carvana dealer. My '22 XL with 38k miles, the 2.0 AWD, and the tow package has an offer for $22,400.

Honestly, most of the people on these car forums are paid marketers or influencers. We all know Ford’s trucks are junk, and they don’t back them up. Your truck won’t last much longer. Drive it until it dies, but expect the engine to fail around 60k miles when it fills with coolant—right after the warranty ends. Then the repairs will cost more than the truck is worth, and the fix will barely last 40k miles.
@Kim
Funny thing, Ford sent me a letter saying they know the engine in my Maverick isn’t great and gave me a 150k-mile warranty. So if it fills with coolant, it’ll be replaced for free. Or I could pay $15,000 if they try to say I mistreated it by changing my own oil.
For real though, I’ve gotten Carvana offers for around $24k for my 2022 hybrid Lariat Maverick recently.

I love my 22 XLT with just over 10k miles. Do you think the value went up by 25% because of tariffs?
It’s just the demand for hybrids. Prices have been high like this for most of the year, and that’s actually why I decided to order a 2025 to my liking instead of paying 10k over MSRP for a Maverick with 20-30k miles on it.
