I had to wait five days because there were 20 other vehicles delivered the same day, and it was first come, first served for detailing and inspection.
Is the body shop at the dealership, or did they send it somewhere else? That’ll affect how long it takes to fix. Also, if the VIN was logged with damage, it’ll follow the truck for its entire life.
Yeah, and the dealership doesn’t want to take the hit for the damage! Get the total damage cost, ask for pictures and the invoice, then demand they reduce the price because they messed up. If they refuse, ask for your money back and go somewhere else. And don’t forget to report them to Ford HQ! Good luck, keep us updated.
Sounds like it’s stuck in paint shop limbo.
Tell them that what happened is beyond your control and go find another truck elsewhere.
Your first mistake was going to a dealership. Find a good, independent mechanic next time, or a certified Ford mechanic if you can.
