Debating on Mav

The new 2024 XLT Hybrid, which has no options, or the 2023 XLT Ecoboost, which has 28k miles on it and is AWD, luxurious, etc.

The wife is worried about how long the hybrid battery will last. I don’t personally know of any stories or experiences with them.

Most likely never will tow or go off-road.

The hybrid comes with an 8-year warranty. I absolutely loved mine, it was incredibly smooth! Plus, it has an ECVT transmission, which is highly reliable because it doesn’t use belts.

What made you discard it?

Because I made a mistake and traded it for another sporty/sexy car that I ended up disliking, I miss the Maverick every single day. :grinning:

That’s a lot of miles on the 2023. I chose the 2024 hybrid XLT with the luxury package for the heated seats and steering wheel, and I would be really annoyed if I ever got less than 40 mpg. I am loving it and have no plans to switch back. It drives great, and I’m still quicker off the line than most people, lots of fun to drive.

28k miles on a 23 is not that much. My 22 ecoboost has 75k miles on it and has only had tire replacements. There hasn’t been any difficulty at all.

I have a 2006 Toyota Prius with the original battery, however it’s a different product. my 17-year-old hybrid battery still works great.

I just got 650 miles on my last tank in my 2022 Hybrid, and I have put 42,000 miles on it so far. I am starting to consider new tires since they are likely the only thing that might need replacing.
