Doing some of that truck stuff we always talk about

Definitely would not fit in the back of my Hyundai Accent, :joy:

Nice, How do you feel about the flat top grill?

It will be some time before we can use it. We are planning to move from a second-story apartment to a house in December, so for now, it’ll just sit on our patio. I was hoping they had one in a box for easier handling.

We had an employee appreciation event that increased our usual discount, reducing the price from $300 to $120. I’ve always wanted one, so I went ahead and bought it. Until we move, it’ll just serve as patio furniture.

Nice. Congratulations on your relocation. I have been considering acquiring a flat top barbecue or getting a new gas grill to replace our current one. We may cook outside on our barbecue for up to nine months of the year, but we are not sure yet.

Nice, What did you have before?

A hatchback Hyundai Accent. Surprisingly, I could fit a lot in there, but not anything put together like this.

You are exactly the type of buyer Ford was aiming for, a car driver who needs to do “truck things.” In my area, having a truck is crucial if you’re into gardening, DIY projects, or homeownership. What other vehicles were you considering when replacing your Accent?

Not many, to be honest. At the time, nothing matched the Maverick’s price point. I wanted a truck, so it would have been between the Ranger or Frontier, but the Maverick was significantly cheaper than both.

Will you be upgrading any dealer equipment yourself with the money you saved?

So far, I’ve had a spray-in liner added, upgraded the speakers, and installed a nice tonneau cover. I have considered lifting it, but I’ll wait until the warranty expires before doing that.
