Ford spray-in bedliner

Hello, I am picking up my truck today, and they mentioned that they could do a spray-in bedliner if I wanted. Is it better to go with their option, or should I just buy one from Amazon or somewhere else?

It’s likely they’re simply reselling a service from a local shop that handles it for them. I would say it depends on the price and warranty they offer.

According to the Ford website, a drop-in is around $400, rounded up, and a spray-in is $500.

Spray-in is the better option.

I assume that’s referring to factory spray-in, not dealer-installed, unless something has changed.

Apply the bed liner through them, but don’t do it until you receive your points in order to save $210.

If the truck didn’t come with a factory spray-in bed liner, I wouldn’t have the dealer do it. I have seen too many poor jobs from various dealers, overspray on body panels, covered tie-downs, and just generally shoddy workmanship. Instead, take it to a LineX or Rhino Liner shop for a proper job. It usually costs around $500-600 for a Maverick bed, and you can even get a color-matched liner if you prefer.
