Has anyone else had their delivery dates changed multiple times?

My truck was supposed to be built during the week of August 19, and by the conclusion of that week, it had been marked as BUILT. It wasn’t until Tuesday, August 27, that it was finally tagged as SHIPPED, the initial delivery window was supposed to occur from September 9–17. That was cool, I thought, but then I was really excited to hear that the dates had been moved to September 11–15! They moved to September 24–30 today. My dealer is located near Kansas City in Independence, Missouri. Just wondering if anyone else experienced a similar shift in shipment dates! All I want is my truck.

Yes, mine did wander around a bit, particularly once it was taken out of the facility. There are frequently unforeseen shipment problems. Always fucking.

I am lucky enough to have a company vehicle, and after years of driving an Escape, I had the option to choose between the PHEV Escape or the Maverick XLT. Naturally, I went with the Maverick. I was informed that these were ordered in April and were initially expected by the end of August, but there’s been a delay. Last week, I was told my new date is 9/21, so I hope it stays that way. Another person in my office was given a 9/12 arrival date and received theirs a few days earlier, so I’m hopeful I’ll get mine in the next couple of weeks.

Last night, the truck arrived. In a short while, I am heading to the dealership to begin the paperwork. :innocent:

Mine shipped on Monday, September 9, and it currently indicates that it might arrive on September 14 or September 20. Is this ever heard of? Here I am in California.

Hey there. Build week, huh? I am in New England, and unfortunately, it won’t make you feel better since my dates have been pushed later. Originally set for late September, today it changed from the 16th-20th to 9/12-9/15, so I’m guessing it’s already on the truck from the rail yard.

To answer your question, yes, the build week and shipping dates for my order have fluctuated similarly. If I had to guess, you might be experiencing the opposite issue, your vehicle could be stuck at the destination rail yard, waiting for enough vehicles to be delivered to your dealership to fill up a truck.
