Does the front deflector have any impact on fuel efficiency? I frequently travel long distances on highways through agricultural areas, and having one would greatly protect my windshield and paint.
The Ford version aligns with the hood, offering limited protection against bugs. It primarily serves as a cosmetic feature, while providing some protection for the front of the hood from potential damage like rock chips or paint wear over time. It likely won’t have a significant impact on fuel efficiency.
Though I got my bugflector for rocks, not bugs. Like a conventional bug deflector, it rests off. No impact. Obtaining 42+ even after 16k miles
I have a Gengar curled up in my cubby too!
Did you install the door sill decal yourself? I still have mine and need to put it on.
Yeah, I did. I messed up a bit on the first one and had to peel it back and re-stick it, but after that, I got the hang of it and the other three went on smoothly.
I also need to put on some fenders and acquire a fresh bottle of rubbing alcohol.
Is there a decent point of alignment for you, or did you just eyeball it?
