Need new tires… any suggestions?

I’m curious, how much did the CC2s cost for all four?

I don’t remember exactly, but the key is finding a good sale and jumping on it when it’s there. If you’re getting them mounted and balanced for $930, that seems like a fair price. Try shopping around and see if anyone offers rebates.

@Vere
KO2s are not a good tire for the Maverick. There are much lighter and better options.

How’s your mpg been with those?

I don’t have a hybrid, but I get 28.7 mpg when I’m driving normally and around 26 when I’m driving a bit crazier. I live in a hilly area.

Michelin Defender 2 is worth checking out.

I have Hankook all-season tires on mine and I’ve been really happy with them. Michelin has been solid over the years, but I don’t think they offer the best value. Lately, I’ve been going with Hankook. I work in tire sales and have access to all brands. Each brand has its pros and cons.

@Wilder
Do you have the hybrid? How’s your fuel economy been?

I love my Goodyear Weatherreadys. Anything with a 3-peak rating is a good choice if you deal with snow.

What’s your take on the BFG KO3? Any opinions on those?
