Does that license plate block air going to the radiator?

It does, but honestly, as long as the engine isn’t overheating, it should be fine.

Yeah, it does block some airflow, but I’m waiting on a part for a no-drill license plate bracket. Had to improvise since I was driving across Texas… Ran it for nine hours in 90-degree heat with no problems.
Looks cool. Always wanted to visit Big Bend… worth it?

Absolutely! This is my fourth trip, and there’s just so much to see and do. But, be warned, everything’s far apart out there!
Hey, I think I stayed at that same Airbnb a few years back!

Buzzard’s Roost in Terlingua! It’s a fantastic spot.
Just saying, but that plate placement is pretty rough… I’d rather put it on the bumper.

If you check my other posts, it’s temporary. Just waiting on a no-drill bracket. Held on with zip ties for now!
@Lyle
Ah, got it! Not so bad if it’s just temporary.
I’m in Dallas and been wanting to take my Hybrid XL out there! Got any tips for a Big Bend newbie? Thanks!
Honestly, that plate placement is so bad that I kinda love it!

Check my other posts… it’s just a temporary setup.

I know it’s temporary! But I still love it and wish my dealer hadn’t drilled holes in my bumper. It’s got some charm to it.
@Yan
Thanks! I really don’t want any holes in the bumper either. Plan to put it in the lower grill center once the part arrives.
Man, I never use my front plate… looks terrible!

Ugh, yeah… but it’s just temporary. Gotta have it up front where I live.

I’m in Texas and keep mine in the glove box. Won’t ever put it on. If I had to, I’d go for a black vanity plate—black with white letters. It’d look way better on these trucks than the plain white ones.
@Ansel
Yeah, I get it. I’ve had a few run-ins with cops over plates, so I’m keeping it legal this time around. Front plates are a pain though.
