Hardware doesn’t matter as much as the software. That’s where the real game is.

Sure, but good software still needs the right hardware to run properly. Why not prepare for that now?

I’m so tired of this take. You can’t run great software on trash hardware. Both matter.
This is why I’m sticking to pre-2010 cars. No thanks.

Honestly, even newer Toyotas aren’t great at tech. My Corolla’s infotainment feels like it’s running on an Atari.
Toyota makes great cars but awful UIs. Who’s building the software for this?

My Sienna has wireless charging but still needs a cable for CarPlay. Make it make sense.
So basically, terrible Japanese software paired with fancy new hardware. Classic Toyota.
Is this their way of building in spyware to sell our driving habits to insurance companies?
Time to grab a low-mileage old Toyota. I don’t need tech; I need reliability.
FYI, Toyota uses Blackberry’s QNX as the operating system. Nvidia is supplying runtime libraries, not the OS itself.

So Nvidia isn’t building their own OS? That makes sense. QNX has been the go-to for safety certifications.
